Winter camping at CBRV is limited to power, overnight parking, and snow plowing. No water is available onsite, and the showers and restrooms are closed in the winter. Four-season campers are recommended, and all campers must be fully self-contained. Fill water tanks or jugs before traveling to Crested Butte. The dump station in Crested Butte is closed in the winter. The dump station in Gunnison can be open weather permitting, but is not guaranteed. (970-641-8020)
Summer cancellation penalties do not apply. A 50% deposit will be taken. No penalty for cancellations with 7 days notice or more. Cancellations between 1 and 6 days will lose deposit. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will be charged for 1st night. The rate for this size category is based on the fact that campers will be plugged into power and heating 24/7 to avoid freezing inside the camper unit. The smaller size and rate will typically be off-site during the day, reducing the amount of time using power.
